I noticed that the writer of the article has translated "comique" incorrectly when it is used as a noun. In French the same word "comique" is used as both adjective and noun. In English, the adjective is "comic" or "comical" but the noun is "comedy". I don't have time right now to make the corrections, but if someone else does, the word "comic" needs to be replaced with "comedy" everywhere that it is used as a noun.
