Notes too long
editThere really doesn't need to be so many "notes". Wikipedia is trying to eliminate "trivia" sections that doesn't mean rename it that means put it in the synopsis or dump it. This is a half hour TV show people(1 hour for this episode) the page about it doesn't need to be more than 3 screens full. The brief page about this episode should easily fit into one page maybe a page and a half since it is a two parter. It should be a review of the episode NOT telling people everything they missed if they haven't seen it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.245.117.88 (talk) 22:04, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
Withdrew from consideration
editIs Jim really saying that he withdrew his name from consideration for the New York job, or was he making a crack about the fact that Michael "withdrew" his name after he had already been eliminated from the job search? I thought it was ambiguous. --207.230.144.240 15:20, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
- Looks like your edit resolves that issue. As the original contributor of that note, I'm satisfied with the edit. - Shaheenjim 04:38, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
Alfredo
editI'm removing the link to the website for the fictional pizza place... unless it is in some way sanctioned or created by somebody noteworthy (i.e., show-related), it doesn't seem to merit inclusion in this article, and could set a bad precedent for tons of fan-made pages being linked from WP. Feel free to revert if this is a big issue, but please cite an external source to demonstrate this being a noteworthy item. -- DataNoh —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.153.3.121 (talk) 13:24, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
Many have watched this episode.?
editWhat is the line in the Notes "Many have watched this episode." supposed to convey? It looks like an incomplete note; I will delete it if no one can finish it. Saucemaster 00:30, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

GA Review
edit- This review is transcluded from Talk:Launch Party/GA1. The edit link for this section can be used to add comments to the review.
Looking good, with just a few suggestions:
- Unbold quotes around episode title.
- Dwight Schrute (Rainn Wilson) decides to compete against the Web site -- use "website" to keep consistency.
- When it is his turn to appear at the party via webcam -- maybe make it clear here that this is the main Dunder Mifflin party, not the Scranton party.
- Okay, how about now? --Mr.crabby ''''' (Talk) 18:32, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
- Eventually Michael has an epiphany about the fact that he's committed a crime -- how about "Eventually Michael has an epiphany, realizing that he has committed a crime"?
- Changed --Mr.crabby ''''' (Talk) 18:32, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
- She doesn't answer, but stifles a smile -- "does not".
- Changed --Mr.crabby ''''' (Talk) 18:32, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
- According to Jennifer Celotta, the idea for the intro scene came -- firstly, "intro" isn't really an encyclopedic word, and secondly, readers who haven't seen the episode have no idea what happens in the scene. Maybe give a brief description.
- Changed --Mr.crabby ''''' (Talk) 18:32, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
- were arguing about whether it will ever hit the corner -- "whether it would".
- Changed --Mr.crabby ''''' (Talk) 18:32, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
- Maybe link five o'clock shadow for those who aren't familiar with the term.
- Linked --Mr.crabby ''''' (Talk) 18:32, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
- Also link Creed.
- Done --Mr.crabby ''''' (Talk) 18:32, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
- a 8% Share -- "an".
- Fixed --Mr.crabby ''''' (Talk) 18:32, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
Otherwise, I think we're all good. You've got seven days to make changes, so good luck! —97198 talk 02:19, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
- Everything's good; the only issue still standing is the bold quotation marks (I couldn't find that in writing anywhere but it's definitely a rule of thumb I'm aware of) but I'll fix that myself in a minute, right after I pass the article :) —97198 talk 07:52, 3 August 2008 (UTC)
