Lauren also variant?
editIsn't Lauren yet another not currently mentioned variant of Laura? In fact, I was under the impression that Lauren was the more standard name and that Laura was the variant, but I may well have been wrong about that. If they are not variants of a single route name, I would like to see the respective etymologies from anyone who knows where to find such information. Why the boys' names
editWhy is which boys' name has the same rank of any interest? It clutters the text horridly.
@previous poster: A "route name" is something like the Great North Road or Highway 101. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.109.27.184 (talk) 18:16, 3 August 2013 (UTC)
Namesakes
editDoes the 'namesakes' section make any sense at all? Laura is a vastly popular name throughout the western world and has been so for centuries. Searching for 'Laura' in Wikipedia yields more than 46,000 results; so there are probably thousands of notable namesakes. We can't include them all, and if we mention a few, which few Lauras are deserve a mention? Steinbach (talk) 00:40, 17 August 2014 (UTC)
