The result of the move request was: swimmer moved to disambiguated title; no consensus for moving the politician; dab page created. Favonian (talk) 18:12, 29 January 2022 (UTC)
– The swimmer's bio was created in 2016 and the politician's bio was created in 2019. However, the politician is the WP:PRIMARY topic. – Muboshgu (talk) 18:11, 22 January 2022 (UTC)
- Support 1, oppose 2. The American politician does seem to be known in reliable sources as "Laurel M. Lee" (see today's Washington Post, also her blue check Twitter.) Laurel Lee should probably be a primary redirect. 162 etc. (talk) 18:41, 22 January 2022 (UTC)
- I see lots of coverage of the Sec State without the initial, examples [1][2] – Muboshgu (talk) 18:51, 22 January 2022 (UTC)
- Support Laurel Lee → Laurel Lee (swimmer) per nomination and 162 etc. Would also support creation of a Laurel Lee disambiguation page that would list Laurel Lee (swimmer) as well as Laurel M. Lee. Neutral regarding Laurel M. Lee → Laurel Lee per nomination or regarding Laurel Lee becoming a primary redirect to Laurel M. Lee per 162 etc. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 03:17, 23 January 2022 (UTC)
- Support 1st, no comment on 2nd. The swimmer gets 21 views compared with 980[[3]] for the politician and this is the simpler title per WP:SMALLDETAILS so at least I'd have a DAB here. Crouch, Swale (talk) 10:11, 23 January 2022 (UTC)
- Support 1 per nom; oppose 2 as 'Laurel M. Lee' looks more common Kpddg (talk) 06:39, 24 January 2022 (UTC)
