Picture?
editwhats the point of having an article about an obscure lemur without having a damned picture of the damned thing — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.174.171.43 (talk) 09:29, 3 August 2013 (UTC)
- I have asked the authors of the research to work with me on the article, and that includes helping provide an image, but I have not heard back. Unfortunately the only people in the world who possess a photo are them. Wikipedia's editors are unpaid volunteers who work from home. Wikipedia does not put us on a jet and fly us to remote corners of the world to snap photos for the encyclopedia. Many of the lemurs on Wikipedia are missing photos, and unless researchers and tourists relax about their desire for a copyright, that's not likely to change... unless, of course, someone wants to buy me some high-end camera equipment and pay to send me to Madagascar for a couple of years. If you're rich and willing to help me out, please drop a note on my talk page. ;-) – Maky « talk » 12:50, 3 August 2013 (UTC)

- Then check out the sources linked to at the bottom of the page . . . and I'm tempted to say, "Aggressive much?" ;) DeadpoolRP (talk) 08:01, 4 August 2013 (UTC)
I have Karsh's Disease which produces tremors in the arms and forearms that cause me to randomly write "damn" when typing. This is an uncontrollable tic and is not intentional. Strange that Wikipedia doesn't seem to have an article about my diease. Another example of Liberal Bias I suppose. Oh, no article for "liberal bias" either? How telling. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.174.171.43 (talk) 08:31, 4 August 2013 (UTC)
To give an update, Dr. Thiele has responded to me and said the team must wait on releasing photos until they can clear it with the journal. Hopefully we will get some photos soon. – Maky « talk » 19:09, 6 August 2013 (UTC)
