Guest starring: Chazz Palminteri
edit@ User:Some Dude From North Carolina So, there DOES this information go then? In the guidelines you quoted it DOES NOT say that a one-off guest starring role cannot be mentioned there. Please, try to differ between rules and structures that must be followed and others that are commonly applied but not necessary. In case of the mention of this guest role it is just a matter of taste, not of rules. So please try to respect edits from other authors who differ from your comprehension of writing. Wikipedia is not a one-person show. --Fact Loving Criminal (talk) 12:42, 8 April 2021 (UTC)
- @Fact Loving Criminal: It's per consistency with other articles so it's not personal. I'm not so sure why you're so determined to include the guest, but shows with progressing storylines don't need to list guest stars (that's for sitcoms and similar programs). Per MOS:TVCAST, show articles list "noteworthy role(s)", and episode tables aren't the place to make exceptions. Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 12:56, 8 April 2021 (UTC)
Crossover characters section - Is it necessary?
editAside from Benson, Carisi, and Stabler's family, the rest of the main cast of SVU have not been in Organized Crime so far. Shouldn't we just list the characters that actually make an appearance in the series? --202.179.34.130 (talk) 01:27, 23 April 2021 (UTC)
episodes
editThe article says that NBC ordered 13 episodes, but later on that it is an 8 episode series. What about the other five? Gah4 (talk) 23:50, 23 April 2021 (UTC)
- That's a good question. Since the eight episode series ref is more recent (March 29, 2021 vs. the the March 31, 2020 date for the 13 episode ref) does the newer one take precedence? Here's a quote from the newer ref indicating the show will be eight episodes [1]: "How far into the season have you shot? :Three in the can with five more to go." David O. Johnson (talk) 17:30, 24 April 2021 (UTC)
- So far, it seems to be one continuous story. Maybe it is a new story after eight? I suspect it gets hard to follow if you don't start from the beginning. Gah4 (talk) 22:01, 24 April 2021 (UTC)
Quote seection in Premise section causing formatting issue in another section
editThe quote box in the Premises section is causing an formatting issue on the Cast & Characters section. That needs to be solved. BattleshipMan (talk) 04:57, 2 November 2021 (UTC)
List of Law & Order: Organized Crime characters
editI am unsure if it's time to start splitting the character section into its own article? The recurring cast is becoming increasingly long and will only continue to do so with its fourth season. Thoughts? – Callmemirela 🍁 22:16, 23 May 2023 (UTC)
