Lawns → Lawns (disambiguation) – Per WP:PLURALPT, the primary topic of "Lawns" is the singular, "Lawn", and should redirect there. The article, Lawn, uses the plural "Lawns" over 70 times to describe the topic itself. With respect to pageviews, Lawn has been viewed 27026 times in the last 90 days, which is more than 200 times the frequency of the only other matching tile, since Lawns, West Yorkshire has been viewed 131 times in the last 90 days. Incidentally, "Lawns, West Yorkshire" sounds like the name of a town, but it is not; it is merely a district of the city of Wakefield. The other two meanings on the page are non-matching titles, one being "The Lawns" (a group of student residence halls), which http://stats.grok.se/en/latest90/The_Lawns has been viewed 1177 times in the last 90 days], and the other being a subsection on the Goddard family of Swindon, which owns an estate called "The Lawns". The estate has no article, but Goddard family has been viewed 1121 times in the last 90 days. Therefore, out of all topics combined, Lawn gets well over 90% of page views. All of this is in addition to the topic of maintained areas of grass and other plants being the clear primary topic in terms of historical importance. Lawns can be found all over the world, including in Lawns, West Yorkshire, in The Lawns, and at the Goddard family's Lawns estate. bd2412 T 18:52, 4 November 2014 (UTC)
- Support - should be straightforward. The "lawns" of big houses are frequently collective and therefore plural. In ictu oculi (talk) 02:49, 5 November 2014 (UTC)
- Support per nom. Clear primary topic. -- Necrothesp (talk) 15:19, 5 November 2014 (UTC)
