Football championships

edit

I am curious about the source for Lawrence's football championships. In particular, this website states that the AP poll was in place from 1947 to 1968 and corresponds with the claims for LHS championships during those years, except LHS was not named champion in 1949 and 1954. Is there a source better than the AP Poll for LHS's claim of championships those years? (I doubt it.) On the other hand, the website says LHS won mythical state championships in 1919, 1927 and 1928. -Kgwo1972 (talk) 18:09, 2 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Importance

edit

Due to the amount of success which the school has experienced athletically in addition to the extremely notable alumni, I am listing the importance of this school as High. Anyone can comment if you don't agree or have a second opinion. JHawk88 (talk) 21:09, 30 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
