I'll get to this first thing when I log on Wikipedia in the morning. :) Jonas Vinther • (Click here to collect your price!) 20:15, 11 July 2015 (UTC)
- Hi Jonas Vinther. Just a friendly reminder making sure you haven't forgotten about this one. :) Freikorp (talk) 02:47, 16 July 2015 (UTC)
- Oh my god, I completely forgot! So sorry, will get right on it. Thanks for the reminder. :) Jonas Vinther • (Click here to collect your price!) 12:59, 16 July 2015 (UTC)
- "is a 1983 French film" - mention what type of film it is. Like drama, romantic, adventure, etc.
- Added its genre as post apocalyptic fiction. Freikorp (talk) 00:41, 17 July 2015 (UTC)
- "Film poster" - tweak to "Theatrical release poster" as it's a more encyclopedia wording
- Done. Freikorp (talk) 14:29, 16 July 2015 (UTC)
- The "Cast" section seems to be unsourced. Movie plots don't need references per WP:MOVIEPLOTS, but I'm not sure that policy applies to which actors portray which characters. If you can find a source to support these claims, please do so. Also, having such a short sentence is very discouraged per MOS:PARAGRAPHS, so I suggest adding a bit of info to each character just to make each point a bit longer and thus making the overall section longer
- I've since decided to simply remove the cast section, as all it did was repeat in formation from the plot section (which already identifies which actors play which parts). This is what I was asked to do at Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within (which was wikipedia's featured article of the day a few days ago) and at Tank Girl (film) (which is currently at FAC, all comments on it are welcome). I wouldn't have really been able to expand the cast section anyway as there is only so much you can write about a character who never speaks, and I think everything you need to know about them is already in the plot section. Let me know what you think. Freikorp (talk) 00:48, 17 July 2015 (UTC)
- "Susan Hayward considered Le Dernier Combat and The Fifth Element to be Besson's two film's which focus on the theme of environmental damage" - mention who Susan Hayward is, such as "film historian Susan Hayward" or whatever her official title is
- Found a source for this and added it. Freikorp (talk) 14:36, 16 July 2015 (UTC)
- "Dave Kehr from the Chicago Reader gave a positive review" - as we have by now mentioned a few reviews, tweak to "Dave Kehr from the Chicago Reader also gave a positive review"
- Done. Freikorp (talk) 14:29, 16 July 2015 (UTC)
- Dave Kehr's quote is missing a quote mark at the end of the section
- Done. Freikorp (talk) 14:29, 16 July 2015 (UTC)
- Reference #8 has no retrieve date
- It's an offline source so there is no retrieval date. Freikorp (talk) 14:29, 16 July 2015 (UTC)
- I meant what date did you use it in the article, not so much what date the source was made public or whether it's accessable ("retrieved 16 July 2015" for instance). Jonas Vinther • (Click here to collect your price!) 17:20, 16 July 2015 (UTC)
- I don't see any point of adding the date I added this source to the article. I've never added such a date to an offline source, nor have I been asked to before, even in articles that passed through FAC. Is there a guideline on this? Freikorp (talk) 00:41, 17 July 2015 (UTC)
- Instead of "Hayward, p. 91" it should be "Hayward & Powrie 2009, p. 91" per WP:Inline citation
- Done. Freikorp (talk) 14:36, 16 July 2015 (UTC)
- That's all I could find. Overall article looks good. Take care of the issues mentioned and ping me when you're done. :) Jonas Vinther • (Click here to collect your price!) 13:23, 16 July 2015 (UTC)
- Hi Jonas Vinther. I've now made a reply to each of the points you've brought up. Let me know what you think. Thanks. Freikorp (talk) 00:50, 17 July 2015 (UTC)
