Complete manuscript partition
editApparently, in 2002, a complete manuscript partition was discovered in the Université de Montréal rare books library, although the discovery was only recently announced (AFAICT). It's origins are unknown, but, although it is not from Gluck itself, it is likely contemporary, and might have been owned at some point by Camille Saint-Saëns. According to the news item, it is the only complete manuscript version (though they do not specify whether this applies to contemporary versions). I am not versed at all in musical history, so I do not know how relevant it is. Circeus (talk) 18:28, 26 August 2009 (UTC)
