CSD

edit

Sorry about the inappropriate tag, there wasn't a good CSD one. The first sentence should be enough for any admin; the entire article is covered on a seperate wikipedia page. Ironholds (talk) 03:03, 27 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Deletion

edit

If the information in this article is in another article please state which one it is and them merge this article into it. There is no need to outright delete it if it really is duplicated. --Wizard191 (talk) 14:47, 27 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

I thing leaching and leachate should be combined http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leachate —Preceding unsigned comment added by 132.221.36.36 (talk) 13:42, 1 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Evaluation Comment: Content

edit

The content of this page could be more clear and concise with a little more focus on the broader knowledge of the subject. This article does a good job explaining an aspect of leaching, however does not go into a lot of detail of other aspects and other various uses of it. I believe expressing the content in a slightly different manner such as natural leaching, beneficial uses of leaching, negative impacts of leaching, etc. would be more easily read. This way a reader can hone in on what kind of leaching they are curious about. In each of these categories then, the actual processes of leaching can be broken down and explained in more detail. Images/figures and a better explanation of the equation provided would also really enhance the content of this article. Lastly, simple revising to ensure fluidity of the article would benefit this article as well. Currently the article could be described as choppy and repetitive, but with good information. --AmyLynnae (talk) 17:53, 9 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

The photo showing leaching from concrete/cement is commonly referred to as efflorescence, so it makes sense to provide a link to that page on Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Efflorescence Casagozo (talk) 01:24, 29 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
