Salary?
editDoes the Leader of the Opposition come with a salary? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hongsy (talk • contribs) 09:23, 11 July 2020 (UTC)
- @Hongsy: To the best of my knowledge, prior to the 2020 election, the Leader of the Opposition did not draw any additional salary as it was an unofficial role (hence he/she would have drawn the same salary as that of other regular Members of Parliament). I don't know if the official appointment thereafter for Pritam grants him an additional salary; hence I've changed it to 'Unknown' for the time being. Thanks, will proceed to remove the section in the info box. Hongsy (talk) 23:58, 13 July 2020 (UTC)

Title capitalisation
edit@JaventheAlderick: Please have a look at MOS:JOBTITLES. While personally, I feel the title should be capitalised, the manual of style dictates otherwise as the page is about the office. This is in line with the pages of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, President of the United States and our own Prime Minister of Singapore. Seloloving (talk) 18:10, 6 February 2021 (UTC)
- @Seloloving: That's fine, I've taken a look into the aforementioned MOS:JOBTITLES. While I similarly believe that using the capitalisation as found in external sources should be preferred where possible, nevertheless it is true that the Manual of Style requires otherwise. Thanks for redirecting me, and thanks for your work on the article. JaventheAldericky (talk) 18:18, 6 February 2021 (UTC)
