Release date not confirmed for beta. No sources available, yet it was edited into this wikipedia page. Suggestion: remove the release section as there is no date yet. Umarnobbee13 (talk) 20:24, 8 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

The source I've looked at says the end of 2020, so putting the release date as 2020 without specifying a month or day should probably be good enough. Maybe anyway? Sakura CarteletTalk 02:00, 9 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Merge

edit

This content is little more than forked content from the parent lol article.—Prisencolin (talk) 06:15, 20 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Agreed, it's essentially a mobile/console version of the PC game with a subtitle, not a distinctly different entity. -- ferret (talk) 11:42, 20 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Agreed Dtlong2000 (talk) 03:44, 25 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

  • Oppose It might be forked content now, but it has potential for expansion. The game appears to be a spin-off, not a port, in which case I would totally support merging. But as a spin-off, it will get separate reviews commenting on what has changed from the original game. This, in my opinion, qualifies it for its own article.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 05:00, 26 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • This seems like a case that merits WP:IAR considering that merging it would be unnecessary and pointless when it inevitably gets expanded later. It might be somewhat of a crystal ball but I think it's pretty predictable that it will get a lot of reception, being based on such a popular franchise.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 15:15, 8 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
Support. Largely reiterated content for a game that has not been released. If it warrants its own article when the game comes out, and there is consistent, reliably reported news, then we can reconsider. There's very little to justify it having its own article right now. Imaginestigers (talk) 10:54, 5 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

I've remove the tag for merging as it's clear there's no consensus for it after several months. -- ferret (talk) 12:55, 2 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

It’s reiterated content, cited with the same primary sources as the main League of Legends article, for a game that has not been released. Imaginestigers (talk) 10:58, 5 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

iOS update

We should at least put the upcoming iOS alpha test Rektz (talk) 10:37, 12 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Feedback from New Page Review process

edit

I left the following feedback for the creator/future reviewers while reviewing this article: Not sure how this one hasn't been reviewed yet, but it was a quick and simple review. Anyways, good work..

Kindly change the League of Legends: Wild Rift logo to this: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Ey4vk7UVIAIQJ7a.png

This new (slightly clear) image was posted by a Riot Games employee working in the Marketing team. Here is the reference: https://twitter.com/draggles/status/1382094908765347840?s=19 ToRoiD x (talk) 22:22, 13 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Already done, see file history of [1] (though I can't tell the difference tbh).  Ganbaruby! (Say hi!) 02:03, 14 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Minor grammar suggestion:

Please change "After fully acquired Riot Games in 2015" to "After fully acquiring Riot Games in 2015" or just "After acquiring Riot Games in 2015" Scapegoat130 (talk) 19:11, 23 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Done "Fully" is necessary; it indicates that Tencent became majority owners of Riot (having already owned some portion of the company that I can't remember). — ImaginesTigers (talk) 19:23, 23 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Promote to GA

edit

I wish to work to promote this article to GA. Is any editor interested in joining? In order to avoid editing conflicts, I suggest a division of topics with an approach similar to League of Legends. Gameplay - Development and Reception, at least for now. ✍A.WagnerC (talk) 15:50, 30 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

I was planning to do it during summer (I took League's article to FA), but happy to see someone giving it some attention early. I might pick up the review for you, if my time allows. Given how new the game is, I can't imagine it'd need two people working on it, honestly. Wishing you the best! — ImaginesTigers (talk) 19:25, 30 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
Okay and Thanks. I will expand the gameplay section firstly. ✍A.WagnerC (talk) 17:21, 1 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thoughts on moving "Release" to be a sub-heading below "Development"?

edit

It would probably make more sense. — Solarvirtuoso (talk with me! | contributions) 13:51, 25 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
