The FRank description says "Based on RankNet". I would change it to "Motivated by RankNet". The model itself is nothing like RankNet. RankNet is a neural network. This is a boosting of binary classifiers. The article is misleading because the authors begin by discussing the loss function of RankNet. But the discussion ends there, the algorithm is completely different. The model was "motivated by" or possibly "inspired by", I think it is too much to say based on. A colleague and I were misleading because of this wikipedia description. Sorry for long rant hehe. --Ric8cruz (talk) 15:54, 14 January 2016 (UTC)
