- "File:Leda Valladares.jpg" needs a US PD tag.
- "File:GritoEnElCielo.jpg" - likewise.
- I removed this one. Not sure when in 1989 it was published, just in that year but I am positive it didn't go into the PD until 2014, which is after 1996. SusunW (talk) 21:36, 3 November 2020 (UTC)
- "indigenous people living in the area" seems a bit of a duplication.
- Not really, in this context it means people who were in the region but descended from non-Europeans. Perhaps if I link it to Indigenous peoples in Argentina and call them Amerindian. Done SusunW (talk) 21:36, 3 November 2020 (UTC)
- "When the Argentine dictatorship ended" Provide a year?
- "Though neither publicly disclosed that they were lovers given the times" This seems an odd way of phrasing it. Maybe something like 'They were lovers, although neither publicly acknowledged it because of the opprobrium towards same-sex relationships at the time. However, their lesbian partnership was known and Walsh would later acknowledge it.'?
- I am swooning with your wordsmithing, but methinks that we both know opprobrium isn't within the range of most high school English students. What about substituting "social taboos". If that works then Done SusunW (talk) 21:56, 3 November 2020 (UTC)
- "Though Alan Lomax acknowledged the quality of their music". Introduce Alan Lomax.
- "With the end of the Argentine dictatorship" Hang on, we haven't been told that it had started. Perhaps a word or two on it?
- Not really sure what I would say, it ran from 1976-1983. Artists were suppressed. Didn't find anything in the biographical materials that says anything about the period, so I assumed she was impacted. Let me see if I can find a source, because I can't really cite to I know this because I study history. SusunW (talk) 22:12, 3 November 2020 (UTC)
- SusunW, oh, go on! Gog the Mild (talk) 22:23, 3 November 2020 (UTC)
- LOL. I found a source, so now it says
Artists and their works were suppressed during the authoritarian military dictatorship, which ruled Argentina between 1976 and 1983.[31] With the end of the regime...
if that works Done SusunW (talk) 22:33, 3 November 2020 (UTC)

- "Valladares was honored three times with the Konex Award" Optional: tell us briefly in line what the Konex award is?
- "One article reports 12 volumes,[25] another 11 volumes,[22] while still others say nine.[26] The re-release of the series in 2001 by Discos del Rojas and Melopea contained eight volumes." The four numbers need to be either all in numerals or all in words.
- Okay, fixed and Done SusunW (talk) 22:54, 3 November 2020 (UTC)
Great stuff. I wish that I could write as well as you. Gog the Mild (talk) 20:55, 3 November 2020 (UTC)
- I'm old. When you reach my age, you'll have the prerequisite practice in. ;) Thanks for keeping me distracted today. Working on these kept me from stressing and now the polls should be closing ... perhaps answers will come. Thank you so much for reviewing her and Wu. You always help improve articles and I truly appreciate that. SusunW (talk) 22:54, 3 November 2020 (UTC)
- LOL.
- Let's hope that we are not suffering from an outburst of hope over experience.
- Great stuff. I am more than pleased that someone is writing such good articles on all these worthy women.
- Did you miss my query at the end of the Wu GAN?
- Gog the Mild (talk) 23:03, 3 November 2020 (UTC)
- I did but I have answered now. Heathen me is actually speaking to Chaac and Zeus and anyone who might tune in an ear. I really appreciate your reviewing them. Writing about women is hard. I will post on your page about my election year project. You will have probably zero knowledge of the topic, so will have a fresh perspective I won't have considered. Thank you so much for your help. I appreciate you and your work. SusunW (talk) 23:12, 3 November 2020 (UTC)

- Interesting life! On good sources, Spanish sources accepted AGF, no copyvio obvious. I approve the hooks, but think that the lead image would add expression to them, and the image of the record cover of Leda y Maria could support a more interesting hook if you were willing. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:31, 10 November 2020 (UTC)
