There appear to be ample citations here, is it time to remove the warning at the top of the page? AMDG09 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 15:17, 20 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

I added the copyediting tag to this entry because I felt the main paragraph was worded a bit strangely and should be re-worked. - John DeBerry 20:44, 18 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

New Section needs to be added for Controversy: Recently Lee Enterprises faced controversy for its purchase and shutdown of the Missoula Independent newspaper. Lee purchased the paper in 2017, prompting members of the Indy to unionize in March in hopes of securing stronger representation within the company. In bargaining sessions over the summer, Lee gave the union two options, either lay off two thirds of the Indy’s staff or close the paper. The Union made a counteroffer but Lee then shut down the paper without notice. Section on defunct television subsidiary

edit

That whole section is about something that happened 21 years ago. The size and extent of the section seems way UNDUE at this point. I argue for removing the chart and just having a sentence or two about the situation as part of Lee's history. Novellasyes (talk) 12:53, 24 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
