How can he gave up football in 1963 but he could win a league title in 1964? With respect, Deliogul 10:56, 1 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Lefter his mother was Turkish so that makes him only half Greek. He holds 1 nationality: Turkish. 195.240.250.105 (talk) 22:54, 25 October 2010 (UTC) Both parents, mother and father, are Turks, of Greek Orthodox faith. 88.116.117.51 (talk) 10:29, 30 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Wrong information

edit

The article states that he was the first Turkish national played abroad. This is wrong Vahap Özaltay was the very first Turkish national footballer who played abroad. Özaltay played in France between 1932 to 1937, about 20 years before Lefter. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.3.224.9 (talk) 16:23, 4 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Any written sources for that; although in Turkish or French? And please do not forget to sign your talk. --E4024 (talk) 16:43, 4 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
