This article is written in British English, which has its own spelling conventions (colour, travelled, centre, defence, artefact, analyse) and some terms that are used in it may be different or absent from other varieties of English. According to the relevant style guide, this should not be changed without broad consensus.
Before Aug 5 2024, the Erasmus article had a B rating but had clearly become too long: it had previously had a significant split into Works of Erasmus but was still long. The editor Tpbradbury flagged it as too long and moved the content rating to C on account of the size. On Aug 10, about 1/3 of the article was split out into new article Legacy and Evaluations of Erasmus.
It seems reasonable to me that an article split out from an article that was B but made C only because of its size should be rated B again, as the material has not changed. So I propose to move the content rating to B in the next week, if that is OK with everyone? Or some other editor might like to do it first? Rick Jelliffe (talk) 00:42, 11 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
