The result of the move request was: No consensus. Jafeluv (talk) 02:20, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
Legendary → Legendary (disambiguation) — This title should redirect to Legend. I take it as given that the primary topic of "legendary" is "of or referring to a legend", in which case have a dab page makes no sense. The meaning of "hagiography" is covered in the lead of the legend article. Srnec (talk) 03:39, 9 October 2010 (UTC)

- Support. I had previously suggested that there was no clear primary topic, but I think I was mistaken, and that this move would be good. However the mentions of Hagiography and the South English Legendary should be left in here. Legend should be linked at the top, per MOS:DAB. HTH. -- Quiddity (talk) 03:48, 9 October 2010 (UTC)
- Oppose. This is not Wiktionary so it doesn't follow that a topic is primary merely because the word is etymologically related. If some types "legendary", it doesn't necessarily follow that he is searching for "legend". (If he were, he would likely type the shorter "legend".) The dab page should remain the target of legendary. — AjaxSmack 03:59, 11 October 2010 (UTC)
- Agree with AjaxSmack. Someone looking for something specifically named "legendary" may likely be looking for something other than the etymologically derived association. older ≠ wiser 14:01, 16 October 2010 (UTC)
