New logo
editIn 2022, they introduced a new logo, so can this be on this page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:18D:4700:2D30:9D09:BD9D:692A:CFBB (talk) 19:55, 10 August 2022 (UTC)
Size incorrect
editThe article claims that the duplo bricks are twice the size of normal ones. But that's clearly wrong based on pictures. Twice the length, width, and height does not mean twice the size each duplo brick appears to be about 8 times the size of it's normal equivilent. --68.184.56.57 02:11, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
Fact tags
editIs it really necessary to have all these 'citation needed' tags in this article? The user that added these noted that he/she was tagging EVERY UNSOURCED SENTENCE in the article. This seems rather excessive to me...anyone disagree? -Grammaticus Repairo (talk) 23:52, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
About Source of facts
editAll year I put in the article from 1969 and forward is found by reading Lego catalogs from 1967 to 2005 from http://www.peeron.com/cgi-bin/invcgis/scans/?ct=1 or lookup a set in http://www.lugnet.com/ I hope this will help someone from make a correct wiki citat. Green bricks
editWhy are the green Duplo bricks older than the smaller green Lego bricks? --88.78.2.2 (talk) 14:30, 16 September 2009 (UTC)
Studs or knobs?
editIt may sound like a discussion about the males in your local nightclub, but there does seem to be inconsistency in the article about whether blocks are measured in knobs or studs. It would be nice to get a universal term. danno 01:19, 13 August 2011 (UTC)
Actual Size
editIt would be good to have actual measurements for Lego and Duplo so that someone can define which they have, if unknown. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.99.23.117 (talk) 11:20, 12 October 2012 (UTC)
Semi-protected edit request on 18 June 2016
editPlease say "stylized DUPLO" instead of "trademarked DUPLO" in the first line! :) ;) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.68.0.235 (talk) 17:38, 18 June 2016 (UTC)
That isn’t true though. The trademark is DUPLO, however the brand is stylized in the logo as “duplo”, all lowercase. JayPlaysStuff (talk) 12:35, 12 November 2020 (UTC)
LEGO Movie 2 spoilers?
editShouldn’t the Duplo creatures be put as the main antagonists of the second LEGO movie, rather than giving away potential spoilers? If someone wants to learn more about the duplo aliens’ role in the movie they can always go to the Wikipedia article for it.
When did Duplo gain compatibility with Lego?
editComparing the pictures of Duplo today with the Duplo I played with more than 30 years ago, it appears at some point in time they introduced small little notch cuts on the centre shaft on the underside of Duplo pieces.
It seems that Lego pieces were always compatible with being placed ontop of Duplo pieces. However, it appears Duplo must have gained compatibility with being placed ontop of Lego pieces at some time in their history by having these notches cut on the centre shaft.
If this assumption is correct, does anyone have any sources about when these notches were added?
If this assumption is incorrect, what are the notches for? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Impreziv (talk • contribs) 15:56, 17 December 2020 (UTC)
