Desperate Cleanup Needed

Where to begin? The amount of information in this article is enough for five+ articles. The table of contents alone is 3+ pages long. I recommend breaking it up into the following articles:

One on the Lego Sets in general, when they were produced, how popular they were, etc...

One about the Video Games,

Maybe one about the Comics and books

A list of the sets

Maybe a list of the Video game elements.

And a disambiguation page. Rock_Raiders should lead to the one about the Lego sets.

I will have time to work on this after finals, but I thought I'd throw my ideas out there in case anyone has better ones, or I'm not doing something right. I'm new to anything more than minor edits. Ben R R (talk) 22:30, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

I was actually considering this not too long ago. When I started the article it barely had any info on it, but a few months ago I added a lot more, now it has almost everything related to Rock Raiders on it. Here's how I think it should be divided.

• One article about the sets
  • General information, including a list of sets
• Two articles about the storyline and media
  • One including the plot summary, and character, technology, creatures and minerals info.
  • Another including the games, books and comics; there were only two games and two very short books, and the comics were only like two pages long each, so those could all easily fit in one article.
• A disambig page.

Power Miners

I removed this section from the main article page mainly because I believe it possibly should have its own separate article instead. However, nonetheless I thought I'd bring this matter up for discussion. Think777 (talk) 16:14, 2 October 2008 (UTC)

Crystals

I've removed the part about the other colors being energy crystals, becuase even if they are that brick they may NOT be energy crystals. Also, should there be images about more of the items? Lair of Rockwhales (talk) 22:49, 14 November 2010 (UTC)

I think the part about Insectoids should be removed. There are no insectoids (aka Zoxatians) in that image or Pages 30-31 of TULB. And don't reference to Lugnet saying there are; some friends of mine thought those were Zoxatians in the bottom left, but they closer resemble ETX aliens. I vote on removing it. Original Plans

The part about it being discovered on Lugnet should be removed, because it isn't from Lugnet, it's from The Ultimate Lego Book. Lugnet just spoke of it first, and the guy that reported it had delusions of Insectoids. Lair of Rockwhales (talk) 19:31, 18 July 2011 (UTC)

I don't know how to cite books or anything at all, so someone else will have to do that. Also I removed the cite tag at the beginning of the article since it was basicly saying "we're not sure if any of this is true even though it's the basic plot of the entire system". --Lair of Rockwhales (talk) 19:40, 18 July 2011 (UTC)

It's not a case of not believing it, it may or may not be true, I just don't know, and no citation is included so I can't go check. If it is true, then a cite should be given to support it. I encourage you to have a look at Wikipedia:Citing_sources - that might help. There should be a second comic, but the pages are missing from the issue in my collection. There's also a Rock Raiders Making Of issue of the Lego World Club magazine. It has concept art and prototype photos. 84.169.221.250 (talk) 11:15, 9 June 2013 (UTC)
