The obituaries indicate two conflicting locations for birthplace. Guardian says Hannover, Germany; SFgate says Thessaloniki, Greece and includes a date of birth (and is written in 'proper' obit style) so maybe is more reliable? Both authors are reputable critics. No obituary explictly states the date of death. SFgate came out first, and so I have used the date of publication, because the wiki template requires a date be added. --Theredproject (talk) 21:02, 26 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
