editRegarding maps: the Paul Magocsi article references "The Origins of the Lems, Slavs of Danubian Provenance: Memorandum to the Peace Conference Concerning Their National Claims (Paris, 1919)" with a "fold out map". This might be a definitive version of the greatest extent of territory claimed by the republic, I can not find a copy. OCLC is 235988962. You could claim that the republic actually governed the Lemko-speaking ares of the north slopes of the Carpathians, west of the Dukla Pass,or perhaps west of the San in the southern parts of the Galician counties of Nowy Sacz, Grybow, and Gorlice.Pustelnik 02:03, 6 April 2007 (UTC)Pustelnik (talk) 17:15, 26 November 2011 (UTC)
Former Flag
editThis area was definitely part of Austria-Hungary before WW I. Why is someone trying to delete this flag? Please explain.Pustelnik (talk) 12:52, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
Map inaccurate
editThe map showing the location of the republic looks quite odd, as if taken from a computer game or so. The area that is supposed to show the lemko republic would rather be the western part of Galicia, even extending into Silesia. That can't be quite right. I will try to get a better map at some point. -- Hierakares (talk) 09:20, 15 July 2010 (UTC)

- It is possible that one is the flag of the West Lemko Republic or Komancza Republic, which wanted to join West Ukraine, however was invaded by poland. 47.229.144.239 (talk) 02:45, 6 October 2023 (UTC)
