editI reverted several good-faith additions to the passage on television roles, as unsourced, point of view contributions of undue weight. I believe it is for his award winning roles on the stage that the actor is best known. The last reversion I made was as an IP; I'd forgotten that I had signed out. Separated at birth
editI'm wondering how often John Mahoney was confused with Len Cariou. They were so similar that they could've switched roles one week on Blue Bloods and Frasier and no one would've known the difference if the two series had been running concurrently. If a Frasier reunion TV-movie crops up, Cariou would be perfect as Frasier's father: no one would even realize that the part had been recast. Racing Forward (talk) 16:40, 7 March 2023 (UTC)
