In some ways I think this person is a bit of a borderline case, I just find centenarians interesting. Anyway don't feel bad for the brief tag. --T. Anthony (talk) 02:26, 8 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

The guy actually did a lot more than live a long time, he was the first person to use an all-welded frame on a motorcycle, also the first to use chrome plate on a motorcycle. His frame design was copied for the WW2 paratroopers small motorcycle and in later life he did a lot of charity work, was awarded an MBE for services to the motorcycle industry, was featured on 'This Is Your Life' and was classed as Britain's Oldest Working Man up until his retirement at ~102. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.98.20.10 (talk) 20:08, 25 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

he also made SOS motorcycles, there's lot of information on the vale-onslow website about the man but obviously cannot be copied and pasted. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.98.20.10 (talk) 20:10, 25 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
