To the anonymous poster who keeps reverting this removal: just add some documentation for it! The way it is now entered, it appears that you're adding this to promote your or a friend's achievements, rather than improving the Lenoir-Rhyne College entry as a whole. Expansion of Campus
In the summer of 2012, Lenoir Rhyne President Wayne Powell announced the acquisition of Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary in Columbia, SC as part of the University. Also a separate campus in Asheville, NC was chosen for a graduate School Learning Center. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.81.218.252 (talk) 16:08, 14 June 2014 (UTC)
Listing of programs and student-to-faculty ratio in lede
It is unnecessary to try to list specific academic programs and the university's student-to-faculty ratio in the lede of this article. Typically, the only time we include specific academic programs in the lede of an article is if they're particularly notable or important for the reader to understand the nature of the institution e.g., it specializes certain kinds of programs. We typically don't even list specific academic programs in the body of the article; see WP:UNIGUIDE and WP:NOTDIR for some explanations why.
It also seems unnecessary to include the institution's student-to-faulty ratio in the lede. That may be suitable in the body of the article in an "Academics" section. But quite frankly it comes across as transparently promotional when included in the lede. Please remember that this is an encyclopedia article discussing the entirety of the university for all audiences, not an admissions or marketing brochure for prospective students.
