Linking
editPlease review WP:OVERLINK before adding new links. It is not appropriate to link plain English words or make repeated links in most cases. Also, there is no need to link an acronym -- spell out the full name of the organization and link that instead. Ground Zero | t 14:42, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
Talk pages
editSee Wikipedia:TALK#Editing_comments for information on the proper behavior on talk pages. It is "unacceptable" to delete others' comments except in certain circumstances. Ground Zero | t 20:31, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
Name of the article
editI do not think that "Leon Bates (UAW Leader)" conforms to Wikipeida policy on article names WP:NAME which says that only proper nouns are to be capitalizaed in article titles -- other words are not capitalized. "UAW Leader" is not a title, so the L should not be capitlaized. Before I change it, I want to know if anyone else has ideas about changing the title. Should it be something else, like "Leon Bates (American labor leader)"? Ground Zero | t 20:42, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
Ground Zero's comments
editThank you for your critique.
I am new to the Wikipedia experience, as far as submission of information. I am learning as I go. I need and except all constructive critisiam that improves my submission. Without thinking; I made the "Link" changes without being logged in that is why it appeared that some randome person had modified the page. I am going to look at making the other changes that you suggested.
I created this page because it did not exist; these peoples story needs to be told. I am not a writer but I am very interested in history and the mark the unknown people made on it. So, if you can make suggestions or changes to improve my submission I welcome it.
Thank you for reading my work, I hope you found it enlightening and enjoyable. Leon E. Bates 18:29, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
