editI have removed the deletion tag for the reasons stated in the article intro. It was an important case for the medical profession and the legal system in Britain. Malick78 (talk) 15:25, 28 June 2008 (UTC)
- The case is perhaps notable, not the person. This should be renamed and edited to focus in the case not the individual (see WP:BLP1E). Delicious carbuncle (talk) 15:52, 28 June 2008 (UTC)
- Whatever. How about we wait a while and let others add things? Just cos I can't google his achievements (perhaps mentioned in a subscription website...) doesn't mean there's nothing about him to say. There's no hurry here (and hey, you were a bit hasty putting the tag on within an hour of the page's inception). Furthermore, an article about a guy accused of murder (rather than the case), has quite a lot of precedents on WP. There's even a category for it;) Malick78 (talk) 16:09, 28 June 2008 (UTC)

edit for move to R v Arthur
editThere's a lot of good information in here, but I think the page needs to be about R v Arthur and not Arthur himself. (I am much more confident in the fact that an R v Arthur page should exist than I am in the fact that this one should not). Thoughts? I'm still quite new and a bit nervous to make big moves like this without discussion, so I wanted to throw it out to you guys. If she wants to dance and drink all night, well, there's no one here to stop her. (talk) 05:39, 29 February 2020 (UTC)
