Several sources say Farbstein served in the Coast Guard reserves during World War I. However, according to Wikipedia, the Coast Guard reserves was formed circa World War II. There were no sources I could find that gave his exact date of service. Having been born in 1902, he would have been very young if he served during the World War I era. I recommend adding the dates of service to this article if it can be determined. Also, there were no sources that had his rank, so if that could be determined, it should also be added to the article.
