It would be unfortunate to not have a picture of arguably the most internationally distinguished (at his time) Greek chemist.
Photographs can be found in the Academy of Athens archive or UoA Laboratory of Organic Chemistry website references, as well as in the russian version [1] of the article (where a non-free photo is provided with agreement from the Russian Academy of Sciences). In the case that no material of appropriate copyright is found, we could at least attempt to host a photo with a similar agreement. My thanks to anyone who decides to pursue the manner further, A. T.
