editI've been through and tried to make the writing clearer and more concise. There are several spots where I'm not sure what backing there is for statements, and have added Citation Needed. One unsourced statement, "In 2006 Lepidurus apus was found in Marlborough in a shallow pool near Seddon." seems too trivial to include, so I've cut it. Have also gone through the references and tidied up their formatting, and rearranged a fair bit. Giantflightlessbirds (talk) 08:20, 2 April 2016 (UTC)
