editIf he was convicted for only one murder, then he cannot be referred to as a serial killer.--193.239.126.100 (talk) 19:27, 17 June 2009 (UTC)

editThis book is likely to be of help in fleshing out this article, if someone speaks German: http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=de&u=http://www.amazon.de/Schokolade-Gest%25C3%25A4ndnisse-Pekalski-wahrscheinlich-Massenm%25C3%25B6rders/dp/3360008510&ei=vAqPS_L0LYr8sQOJoOTXCA&sa=X&oi=translate&ct=result&resnum=1&ved=0CAoQ7gEwAA&prev=/search%3Fq%3DNur%2Bf%25C3%25BCr%2BSchokolade.:%2BDie%2BGest%25C3%25A4ndnisse%2Bvon%2BLeszek%2BPekalski,%2Bdes%2Bwahrscheinlich%2Bgr%25C3%25B6%25C3%259Ften%2BMassenm%25C3%25B6rders%2Bunserer%2BZeit.%26hl%3Den%26safe%3Doff
Title Nur für Schokolade.: Die Geständnisse von Leszek Pekalski, des wahrscheinlich größten Massenmörders unserer Zeit. Author Jaques Buval Publisher Neue Das Berlin GmbH, 1998 ISBN 3360008510, 9783360008510 Length 287 pages
The German wikipedia page on this fellow appears to be based entirely on this book: http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=de&u=http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leszek_P%25C4%2599kalski&ei=XA2PS4adCJKOtAO8-sDlCA&sa=X&oi=translate&ct=result&resnum=2&ved=0CBIQ7gEwAQ&prev=/search%3Fq%3DLeszek%2BP%25C4%2599kalski%2Bde%2Bwikipedia%26hl%3Den%26safe%3Doff
Removing Proposed Deletion
editReferences to the man as a serial murderer, etc., seem to appear in both of the books I've cited. Note that the second book (Buval's) is the single reference for the much more fleshed out de.wikipedia entry, the primary facts in the article seem confirmed by both by the de. entry *and* by independent summaries of Buval's book. I'm taking that together as sufficient weight to accept that the information is in the book, but I recognize that's questionable, and if someone has a copy of the book and speaks German, well, that would be a positive thing, and could result in a much longer article. Alternatively, translate the DE page here. --Joe Decker (talk) 01:55, 4 March 2010 (UTC)
