Lexington County Hospital aka Lexington Medical Park aka Lexington Medical Center
editThis is a picture of the (formerly monickered) Lexington County Hospital, which is located in West Columbia, SC. Why someone put this on the Lexington, SC page is beyond me: It was placed in the section that displays the table of Lexington's top employers, but it is not even in the list (I suppose because it is not located in Lexington), and *again*again*again* the hospital is located in West Columbia, SC, not Lexington.
The Lexington, SC page is about the town of Lexington, NOT the entire county, therefore the photo of the hospital is sorely out of place.
If someone wants to move the photo to an appropriate section under Lexington Medical Center, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lexington_Medical_Center that would be the place to put that photo. Also, the wikipedia page for West Columbia, SC would be an appropriate home for the photo, since the hospital is *in* West Columbia.
I grew up and lived in Lexington, long before they began building the hospital in *WEST COLUMBIA*, and I lived there several years after the project was completed. All my experiences with Lexington County Hospital were positive (even with terminal cases, they were as good as could be hoped); it was a fine hospital from my observations, but it was not, *is* not in Lexington, SC. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.57.32.223 (talk) 07:55, 6 April 2013 (UTC)
History Section
editThe previous History section was a cut-and-paste from this website. I tried to rewrite the section as a short paraphrase of that website, and included a reference to that website.Inkan1969 (talk) 02:30, 1 January 2015 (UTC)
