Turbocharged engine discussion
edit"The NX is the first Lexus vehicle to feature a turbocharged gasoline engine." is incorrect. The first two generations of the GS300 where available with the 2JZ-GTE - a turbocharged gasoline engine. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lexus_GS
- In the US market, the first two generations of the GS300 where available with the 2JZ-GE - a naturally aspirated gasoline engine. Japanese versions of the GS (known as the Toyota Aristo) were available with the 2JZ-GTE, a turbocharged variant of that engine. The last Toyota to offer a factory turbocharger in the US market was the 1998 Toyota Supra, with a 2JZ-GTE engine. Until the NX200t, no Lexus has offered a factory turbocharged engine. I have updated the page to be more accurate. To the best of my knowledge, no Lexus (even outside of the US has offered a turbocharged engine, but I cannot confirm that.
