Naming of article
editI know there was another Liam Sullivan in Wikipedia before, a deceased actor. I moved his article to "Liam Sullivan (actor)". I'm wondering if we might not want to move this article to "Liam Sullivan (comedian)", and set up a disambiguation page? Because I'm just thinking people are not going to look for Alive Comic Liam under his first/middle/last name. NickBurns 19:57, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
"Muffins" Information Removal
editWhy was the other information in the "muffins" section removed? It's perfectly acceptable and adds context and plot to the article. Is there any reason why this should not be in here? Otherwise, I'll put it back. --LoganK 14:16, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
Gilmore Girls?
editIMDB doesn't have Liam listed as having working on Gilmore Girls. Anybody know what role he had? -Fuzzy 02:04, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you, whoever mentioned what role he was playing. I still have no idea as to what episode this is, but it gives one a basis to start with. -Fuzzy (talk) 12:05, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
70s Porn?
edit"A bit of porn in the 70's" is a joke, right? Since he was only born in 1973. Is this the right place for jokes?
Article for "Shoes"
editDonnie
editUm, I'm almost positive that in Muffins, the grandson's name is 'Donnie' as opposed to Johnny. Listen very closely and you'll see. 69.166.57.92 09:56, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry to break it to you, but no, it's Johnny. I listened closely to it over and over, and I only hear a "J" sound as opposed to "D."
- It heard a distinctive "D". And please sign you comments next time using four tildes (~). Therequiembellishere 02:53, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
- Seeing this, I went and watched the video on youtube about 20 times and have to say that I'm almost positive that the child's name was 'Donnie'. Maybe my ears are just shot, but I I did not even hear a "J" sound. Jetset59 23:41, 18 September 2007 (UTC)

Vampire
editWhy is it necessary for the article for vampires to linked at the bottom? Is Liam Kyle Sullivan a self-proclaimed vampire? and if this is so, wouldn't it be better off mentioned in the main article? 206.116.28.142 10:49, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
- I don't know. Because Kelly's best friend is a vampire? Kind of like how Gwen Stefani used to have a "see also" of Bananas. --Node 00:51, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
Misc. changes
edit- I changed the descreption of Kelly's characterestec pronunciation to be more scientefeck. I'm curious as to where thes pronunciation comes from -- at first, I fegured LKS came from Menneapoless or sometheng.
- I removed "grossly misrepresenting the video" because et es blatant POV. Ef Mr Sullivan said sometheng to that effect, we can include that as a quote from hem ef we hev a source for the quote, but right now we don't.
- Text Message Breakup is the offecial title for the felm used on betchslap.com, so I replaced "Txt Msg Brkup" weth the offecial name.
- As far as I could tal, she said "leck my fuckeng clet", not "leck my fuckeng clit". Difference in perception perhaps, but nevertheless it is unsubstantiated and probably errelevant. --Node 00:51, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
The accent is a southern California Valley accent, replacing the "i" with an "e" such as "pin" as "pen".--DCX (talk) 08:22, 23 March 2010 (UTC)
Sexuality
editI have edited the part saying he was gay. While he performs in drag, and thus might fall under LGBT issues (?) I could not find any sources relating to his sexuality. It is also of no real notability. Eedo Bee 14:14, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
- His MySpace page lists him as being both straight and engaged, which should solve the question of his sexuality dxprog 7:59, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
Minor-Major edits
edit- The video "Text Message Breakup" is actually spelled "Txt Msg Brkup."
- I moved the sentence "Kelly's last name is partially revealed in the beginning of the video when Heather says "Great potatoes Mrs. P"; no one is sure what the P stands for," from the Txt Message Breakup section to the Trivia. It sounds more like trivia than actually a description for the video. I also deleted "During the video, Liam states that "you can lick my fucking clit, for once," from the very same section because it is irrelevant.
- There currently is no video by Sullvian for "Let Me Borrow That Top." Hence, I deleted the section. It can be redone once the official video is put on the internet.
- On behalf of "Muffins"; I don't think there should be the actions Liam does when presenting the muffin. The breif description of the muffin is fine, but since the article is only listing the muffins, nothing more or less, the actions should be excluded. What do you think? Eat-the-kids 00:36, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
A lot of fluff in this entry
editDoes this entry *really* need to spell out each type of muffin mentioned in a comedy skit? --24.249.108.133 22:45, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
Yes. it's informative, and funny. Bouncehoper 04:37, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
Question about Txt Msg Brkup
editCan it be confirmed that the man in shades is Jay Chandrasekhar? It sure as hell looks like him. And the chick in the NSA looks like Britney Spears, but that one I'd doubt more. Thanks! Bouncehoper 04:42, 18 April 2007 (UTC) Actually, I was thinking the girl looks exactly like Lindsey Lohan.65.185.94.189 (talk) 06:09, 7 December 2007 (UTC)I looked over the text message breakup video and I couldn't find lindsay lohan anywhere, which person is she in the video?
Stop adding useless information!
edit"*"In Txt Message Breakup", Kelly makes a comment about a clitoris, saying, "If you don't like it you can lick my fucking clit, for once", but she doesn't replace the hard i for a soft e, as she does in "betch" "deck", and "shet" or "shetbag" "
Who cares if Kelly said "lick my fucking clit." It is in no way relevant to the article and Kelly usually makes vulgar comments in her usual dialect, so it doesn't matter. Whoever keeps adding this into the trivia, STOP ADDING IT. IT IS USELESS!! If you feel so utterly compelled to add it in here, then make a section about her accent and use it as an example. Trivia
editThis article contains a list of miscellaneous information. (June 2007) |
- In the skit "Shoes", a picture of George W. Bush can be seen on the parents' wall, and in "Txt Msg Brkup", a picture of Dick Cheney and Mel Gibson can be seen on the wall.
- Kelly's last name is partially revealed in the beginning of the video "Txt Msg Brkup" when Heather says "Good potatoes, Mrs. B"; it is not clear what the B stands for.
- In Sullivan's "Love Letters", he mentions he ate two Cunningham Muffins, a reference to the company he promotes in "Muffins".
- Sullivan blinks only twice during the entire sketch of "Muffins", when he is describing the "bits o' glass muffin" and the "Asbestos".
- On Myspace "Kelly" sent out a bulletin with liamshow.com purchasable items. "She" also confirmed a video for "Let Me Borrow That Top"
- The singer in "What R U guys talking about?" On Kelly's CD (Kelly Likes Shoes) is a singer named Maren. Maren has her own songs on her myspace. (http://www.myspace.com/maren)
- Kelly's father references a statement from Twisted Sister's "I Wanna Rock" and "We're Not Gonna Take It" music videos, asking Kelly "What are you gonna do with your life?" in the video, Shoes.
- In "Txt Msg Brkup", Kelly's father mentions a $300 charge; this is a reference to Sullivan's "Shoes" where Kelly purchases $300 shoes.
- In the intro of both "Txt Msg Brkup" and "Shoes", the same background music is played constantly in a loop.
- in the begining of Txt Msg Brkup when Kelly looks at the message, you can see her boyfriends name. (Neal)
- In "Txt Msg Brkup", Kelly's father states that "sex is for married people" and follows up by having an intense seductive staring contest with his wife. She stuffs a muffin into her mouth, a reference to Sullivan's "Muffins".
- Per the Wikipedia:Avoid trivia sections in articles guideline, I have moved this section here so that it can be properly sourced, then integrated into the article where and if appropriate. Yamaguchi先生 03:34, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
Opening Act for Margaret Cho
editAside from her guest starring in his videos and them both appearing in the Dresden Dolls' "Shores of California" music video, Liam was one of Cho's opening acts on her Beautiful tour. If anyone could source and add I would be much obliged.Torca (talk) 03:34, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
Pam Cook link
editThe link to guest star Pam Cook leads to an article about a British college professor. I doubt this is the same person as the actress; however, I have no further information.MichaelCaricofe (talk) 22:16, 24 April 2010 (UTC)

Removed high school nonsense
editThere is no reason on God's green Earth why the HIGH SCHOOL this person attended should be mentioned in this article, let a lone in the first sentence. I deleted it; you're welcome. You may as well have mentioned the name of the roller rink where he hosted his 8th birthday party. If someone is noteworthy enough to warrant a wikipedia article, the assumption is that their accomplishments are SLIGHTLY more noteworthy than a friggin high school diploma. Everyone went to high school, that is not extraordinary, but not everyone does something noteworthy. That is what the articles are here to focus on. The college or university of attendance has a bit more relevance (but not much). Admiral Bimbo (talk) 01:55, 12 January 2012 (UTC)
