"China" and "mainland China"
editThere was a dispute over two versions (see the difference) over China and mainland China. Please refer to Wikipedia:Naming conventions (Chinese)#Political NPOV. — Instantnood 10:34 Mar 5 2005 (UTC)
Baffling statement
edit"Its regionalisation drive was given a shot in the arm..." - Phrase is confusing and unencyclopedic. Please advise. --Plastictv 04:21, 5 Apr 2005 (UTC)
POV?
edit- With 800,000 people reading its print edition, and many millions more online, the paper is considered to be an objective, credible newspaper, enjoying a high reputation among the regional Chinese community.
As long as there is no survey data to back this statement up I think it should be deleted. The fact that it is read widely does not mean the newspaper is considered objective or credible. If that were the case, the German Bild-Zeitung would be the most credible German newspaper. --Ghormax 17:17, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
I would like to express the observation that in recent years, most commentaries published in the online version seem to take a pro-China stance. How can I suitably include such information in the article? Arkansaw 13:58, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
Circulation
edit"a daily circulation of about 388,500 copies on weekdays and 388,500 copies on Sundays"... The number is the same, which could have been the intent in repeating it for Sundays too? Tylko (talk) 22:36, 23 December 2010 (UTC)
