Plot Structure
editAt this moment the plot starts ok, with just the basic points, but then it goes to a too-detailed description. I think it would be better dividing it in subsections, merging with the "rounds" sections already existing. I would do that, but English is not my native language and I don´t want to mess it up too much.Yawmoght (talk) 13:21, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
- I feel the same. It gives away too much. 118.136.45.126 (talk) 04:42, 25 March 2009 (UTC)
- There are more than enough people that can correct those mistake who are almost fluent in English, but you can correct the content, and not many people can do that. So suppose you adapted it anyway? How long would it take for the English mistakes to be corrected? And if you feel you would really make too much mistakes, just make a better version in the discussion page, then other people can correct it and put the final version in. Right? (ps. Big thanks for the article people who contributed/contributing!) 82.95.7.24 (talk) 10:27, 25 July 2009 (UTC)
Vanguard Game: who does the dealer shoot at the end of the 5th pass? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.54.2.15 (talk) 12:01, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
Can we please keep plot/rules to the latest translated chapters? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.19.56.35 (talk) 12:48, 27 April 2009 (UTC)
- I think the plot should probably just be a general overview rather than explain every arc as each chapter is released. That would just be retelling the story and make the article way too long. Details, like the games and the outcomes, could easily be moved into the character section or the "games" section. 24.84.218.226 (talk) 07:10, 29 April 2009 (UTC)
Viewership Rating?
editThe show got viewership rating 11.4 ... is that a good thing or a bad thing? Cause its not on a scale of 1 to 10, and if it were on a scale of 1 to 100, well... Bottomline is I have no idea how to read it, and that is one of the main things I'm interrested in as I appear to be doing a project with similar goals as the writer of this manga :)
Please sign your posts. 11.4% is remarkable for one tv programme based on figures for Gundam shows, among the most popular in Japan of all-time. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.45.144.215 (talk) 03:03, 22 August 2009 (UTC)
Plot
editIf anyone feels like creating a volume/chapter list this revision contains a bunch of plot information that can be used. TTN (talk) 18:51, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
Droping meeuh stuff here
editMoved from article:
Differences Between Manga and Drama:
In the Drama, the LGT sends video tapes in addition to letters. A puppet, who appears in the tapes, replaces Leronira.
The lawyer hired by the LGT is instead a police officer. He drives Nao to Round II, where three unmasked women greet her. These three unmasked women also collect the money at the end of Round I, instead of the three masked men, and count the votes in Round II, instead of Leronira.
In the drama, Fukunaga disguises himself as a woman when stealing the 100 million yen. Thus most of the genders are reversed compared to the manga: No.15 is a woman, and Nao and Akiyama form a team of men.
The players are transferred to the third round immediately after the first revival round in the drama.
The drama's third round is between the "Water Country" and "Fire Country". Also, each player is given 500 million yen (100 outside, 400 in the ATM). The entire game lasts 30 rounds, and there is no indemnity if the smuggler smuggles more money than an inspector's doubt.
Yokoya is introduced to the 9 players at the beginning, and those ten people are then split up into two teams of five.
Yokoya's appearance changed quite significantly. He exclusively wears white and has white hair. Also Yokoya is no longer a previous classmate of Kikuzawa's, and is instead the man who ran the MLM company that drove Akiyama's mother to suicide. He gets the policeman to use Nao as bait to drag Akiyama into the Liar Game so he could get his revenge on Akiyama.
The Liar Game was run by a man to see if someone as pure as Nao could be tainted. After winning Round III, he restores his faith in people, making Round III the last round.
I really think that those kind of information don't deserve a full sub-section in the article and their quality & relevance to it are close to the anecdotes level. --KrebMarkt 07:46, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
Restructuring this page
editI have just move the TV series into their own separate page. I feels that Manga listing should also be on a separate article like other manga. I am curious into what other things we can do to clean this article up. ~E (talk) 22:14, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
Plot
editThere is a lot of plot summary. Yes, Liar Game is amazing, but it's best to not put lots of spoilers on Wikipedia. The readers should read the manga for themselves. Also, plot summary is not really encouraged on Wikipedia. I'm not going to do anything to the article, but I am just notifying about this issue. Sorry! Thanks for listening. --Carrot Lord (talk) 12:54, 18 January 2013 (UTC)
"Politics" Section Removed?
editWhy was the "politics" section on Shinobu's in-manga references to the Tiananmen Square massacre completely removed? Dr. Schnittke (talk) 01:30, 15 August 2017 (UTC)
Alright, I just saw it classified as original research. Is there any way we can mention those references? Dr. Schnittke (talk) 01:35, 15 August 2017 (UTC)
Any updates? Zuthee96 (talk) 04:16, 13 March 2022 (UTC)
