No Criticism Section?
editThis article seems a little biased. Current events alone challenge the conclusions of this school of thought. ISIS, Russia, Kim Jong Un, and the challenges facing the EU are all examples of new and existing challenges that clearly aren't being resolved by policies based on this theory of international relations. 63.152.68.159 (talk) 16:25, 8 February 2016 (UTC)
- Though this article lacks in particular realist, Marxist and neoliberal critiques of traditional liberalism within international relations theory, criticism sections are not the best way to introduce those views. See WP:STRUCTURE. – Finnusertop (talk ⋅ contribs) 11:24, 3 March 2016 (UTC)
- By contrast, the Realism (international relations) page has a rich Criticisms section (in parts actually working as criticism of liberalism, by providing counter-criticism).
- For readers inexperienced in the field (e.g. students), this easily gives the impression that Realism is very criticised, while Liberalism is not.
- As far as I am aware, most Wikipedia articles about politics and similar subjects have a Criticisms section. It is usually helpful for identifying the limitations and scope of a certain view or ideology. Meyer.Fritz (talk) 08:52, 7 June 2024 (UTC)
