Its an information about a unique publishing project, which made an important cultural contribution in the dissemination of world literature (prose, fiction and poetry) for millions of people in Eastern Europe and Asia. In 10 years they published 300 thousand copies of each 200 volumes, 60 million copies in total. Yesterday, in the course of the zoom seminar, I gave on the topic of culturally important texts included in the series "Library of World Literature", several members of the audience, including some authors and scientists, asked me to create an English page of already existing pages in Russian and German on this topic with a whole list of books. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mladovesti (talk • contribs) 14:57, 29 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
