Licence to Kill (Gladys Knight song)Licence to Kill (song) – Is there another song? Unreal7 (talk) 18:56, 7 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

  • There are several on the DAB page but only this one has an article, if none of the others are notable then a hatnote to the DAB should be enough. Crouch, Swale (talk) 19:44, 7 October 2018 (UTC) --Relisting. bd2412 T 03:59, 15 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
  • Comment so if we do this it means anyone looking for the Bob Dylan song "Licence to Kill" now has to (1) go to the Gladys Knight song, (2) click hatnote to dab, (3) click the correct song. We should do everything possible to make life difficult for readers. In ictu oculi (talk) 20:08, 7 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
No article, no notability. Unreal7 (talk) 16:10, 8 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
  • Support. I happen to know both the Gladys Knight and the Dylan songs. The Gladys Knight song was a movie title track and a Top 10 single in several countries. The Dylan song has never been more than an album track. No-one had even taken the trouble (until I did just now) to create License to Kill (Bob Dylan song) as {{R from song}} to populate categories. It was covered by Tom Petty on The 30th Anniversary Concert Celebration, but even as a Dylan fan I can't see it getting through WP:NSONG. We have no article on the Malice album, let alone its title track; and a search suggested that the album would have serious difficulty in passing WP:NALBUM.
I've added a 'For' hatnote from the Gladys Knight song to the Dylan song. After a move it would take two clicks to find it, same as now. Narky Blert (talk) 09:44, 12 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
