editI suggest removing the narrative and photo related to the spur line between low and high level lines, this has now been taken out of use as part of the station alterations. -- Jschwa1 (talk) 22:42, 16 November 2007 (UTC). I take the above comment back, they have now started relaying the track on the spur! Jschwa1 (talk) 12:19, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
The old station buildings at LTV were demolished well before the 1990s. The high level canopies and shelters burned down in the 60s. The 'temporary' ticket office (and only building except for bus-shelters on platforms 2 and 3) has was well established by the mid-80s. DGEred (talk) 05:41, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
I've just found out that the journey time for the 9:27am - 10:50am train from Lichfield Trent Valley to London Euston, which was 1 hour 23 minutes, is now going to be increased to 2 hours 9 minutes: the new times are 9:40am and 11:49am respectively. So after putting up with about 5 years of disruptive and noisy work, the reward that local people are getting is an increase in journey time of 46 minutes. I was expecting that the journey time would be reduced to closer to 1 hour. Instead the opposite has happened. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.111.42.62 (talk) 20:23, 13 December 2008 (UTC)
- The London Midland services usually connect with Virgin Trains at Rugby to offer a total journey time to London of 1 hour 35 mins. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.6.149.18 (talk) 08:40, 2 June 2009 (UTC)

editThere have been too many trivial changes to the "Services" section, as described at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject UK Railways#IP adding timetable information. Accordingly, I've restored that section to how it was on 13 July 2014, and I've applied a 1-week full protection to this page. Any changes to the Services section need to be discussed here, and references provided. --Redrose64 (talk) 18:55, 20 August 2014 (UTC)
