Explanation of ratings

edit

I have rated this article as Start class because it has material appropriate to that designation in the supporting graphics; I have rated it as mid-range in importance because while its influence in the subgene of sword and planet is considerable because of its possible use by Edgar Rice Burroughs as a partila model for A Princess of Mars, it is otherwise little more than a curiosity, virtually unknown outside devotees of classic science fiction. Audio Version

edit

There is an audiobook version of this book at Librivox: http://librivox.org/gulliver-of-mars-by-edwin-l-arnold

I can't add it myself because I'm associated with LV...

official

edit
Though this official adaptation used many of Arnold's characters and concepts, it was not a strict adaptation of the original book.

What does "official" mean here? That it was authorized by Arnold's heirs? That it was arranged by the Office of Comic Book Adaptations? —Tamfang (talk) 20:23, 1 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
