Plagarism: Violation of copyright / promotion by liftboat company
editThis article on liftboats appears to have been plagarised from http://www.levingstonoffshore.com/whatisaliftboat/ , a website of a boatbuilding company specialising in liftboats. The edits appear to have been made by http://en.wikipedia.org/User:Levingstonoffshore (blocked for conflict of interest) and http://en.wikipedia.org/User:Elijahzane (blocked as suspected sockpuppet of Levingstonoffshore)
I've never edited for advert or plagarised content before, apologies if I've done it incorrectly. Comrade jo (talk) 16:26, 1 July 2013 (UTC)

Issue: advertisement
editHi all,
New to editing Wikipedia, but two of the sections of this page are just blatant advertisements for specific boats which are not particularly important to the industry, and I think they should be removed.
Seacor Power section needs work
editSeacor power section provides details that do not have proper sourcing, and are also likely incorrect. Specifically the mention of "The vessel capsized after an unnamed category 1 hurricane raised 70 to 80 mph (110 to 130 km/h) winds and rough seas" is not sourced and does not appear to be correct based upon information available from definitive sources. This information also differs from the main Seacor Power wiki article. --W Scott Lincoln 14:05, 30 December 2021 (UTC)
