The result of the move request was: well, Juventusfan7 just decided to move the article anyway. In future, please wait for an impartial closer to make the decision. Jenks24 (talk) 12:23, 4 April 2013 (UTC)
Côte d'Ivoire Premier Division → Ligue 1 (Côte d'Ivoire) – The leagues sponsor's official site refers to the league as Côte d'Ivoire Ligue 1[1] and FIFA refers to them as Ligue 1.[2]
The official site refers to them as Ligue 1 Côte d'Ivoire.[3]
On the Wikipedia page there is no reference as calling them Côte d'Ivoire Premier Division. Juventusfan7 (talk) 22:26, 24 March 2013 (UTC)
- If we're going to use a disambiguator, it should match Ivory Coast. So I'd suggest Ligue 1 (Ivory Coast) as a better destination. --BDD (talk) 16:22, 25 March 2013 (UTC)
- FIFA and CAF refer to the country's English name as Côte d'Ivoire.[4] [5] Juventusfan7 (talk) 21:05, 27 March 2013 (UTC)
- Though we persist with titles like Côte d'Ivoire national football team, we don't always use FIFA names. See, for example, North Korea national football team and South Korea national football team, where we choose WP:COMMONAME and country article names over FIFA forms such as Korea DPR and Korea Republic. --BDD (talk) 18:10, 1 April 2013 (UTC)

Ligue 1 (Côte d'Ivoire) → Ligue 1 (Ivory Coast) – per Ivory Coast. Jenks24 (talk) 12:25, 4 April 2013 (UTC)
- Support I would suggest adding Côte d'Ivoire national football team to this request, as well as relevant members of Category:Ivory Coast national football team (note the cat name). This is fundamentally about a disagreement between our WP:COMMONNAME policy (and consistent titling) and FIFA's official names. As I mentioned in the previous RM, we've chosen the former in other cases, as well I believe we should. --BDD (talk) 18:47, 4 April 2013 (UTC)
