- I'll try to review this tomorrow.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 04:45, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
It will host the 2016 event. The LEAD is written as if it has already hosted it.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 07:29, 19 June 2012 (UTC)- Corrected. Arsenikk (talk) 19:27, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
"2018 Winter Olympics bid and 2022 Winter Olympics bid." s/b 2018 and 2022 Winter Olympics bids.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 07:29, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
- History
Lillehammer Municipal Council, Oppland County Council and the Norwegian Directorate for Cultural Heritage rejected the location. on what basis?--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 07:29, 19 June 2012 (UTC)- The sources are vague on this issue, but I have added a fragment to make it somewhat more clear. Arsenikk (talk) 19:27, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
"The designers of the tracks at Altenberg and Oberhof, East Germany; La Plagne, France; and Calgary, Canada, were consulted during planning" should note all Olympic venues.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 07:29, 19 June 2012 (UTC)- Specified. Arsenikk (talk) 19:27, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
"the first of the Olympic venues" for the 1994 games--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 07:29, 19 June 2012 (UTC)- Specified. Arsenikk (talk) 19:27, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
- Specifications
- What kind of acreage does the course cover.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 07:53, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
- None of the sources specify this. Arsenikk (talk) 19:27, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
"four other Olympic venues within Lillehammer" which ones?--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 07:53, 19 June 2012 (UTC)Do the lengths at the beginning include breaking distance?--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 07:53, 19 June 2012 (UTC)- The first does, the latter two do not. At least within the sources there seems to be no ambiguity using those terms, but if it is confusing to lay readers I would be more than happy to make it more specific. Arsenikk (talk) 19:27, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
- You have to asterisk or notate the content sufficiently so that the reader knows when breaking distances are being included and when they aren't.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 22:02, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
- I've rewritten to be more precise. Arsenikk (talk) 23:04, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
- "The competitive length—excluding braking distance—for bobsleigh and men's singles is 1,365 meters (4,478 ft) and for men's doubles and women's singles is 1,065 meters (3,494 ft)." seems wrong. Should it be bobsleigh
andmen's? What about women's doubles?--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 23:36, 19 June 2012 (UTC)- Added that the singles/doubles is luge. As for women's double's, it doesn't exist as a competitive sport. Arsenikk (talk) 11:27, 20 June 2012 (UTC)

- Future
The first para is stubby. How about adding dates for the events or something.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 22:04, 19 June 2012 (UTC)- did you miss this?--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 23:31, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
- Sorry for missing this. I don't like short paras any more than you, but I feel it is essential to separate scheduled events and proposed events clearly. I have added the dates for the tournament, but I cannot find the event dates. Arsenikk (talk) 11:27, 20 June 2012 (UTC)
- did you miss this?--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 23:31, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
Is there a link for "the Alpine skiing hills"?--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 07:59, 19 June 2012 (UTC)WHat does "despite a distance of 1,500 kilometers (930 mi)" mean?--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 07:59, 19 June 2012 (UTC)- Rephrased to make clear. Arsenikk (talk) 19:27, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
The LEAD mentions 2022. Why no details here?--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 08:02, 19 June 2012 (UTC)- Added a sentence. Arsenikk (talk) 19:27, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
- Track records
Needs bobsled and skeleton records.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 07:59, 19 June 2012 (UTC)- I have searched extensively in various places probably for an hour and all I have found is the women's skeleton records. As far as I can tell, there are not official records which show the track records for other disciplines. Arsenikk (talk) 19:27, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
- Above the table state that these are selected records or rename the section. This is clearly not a comprehensive list.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 22:12, 19 June 2012 (UTC)

I am putting this article on hold. Please respond to each concern on the following line. I will review this article in 7 days.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 08:04, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you for taking the time to review the article. Arsenikk (talk) 19:27, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
I just looked at the sources for those course records. I believe you are presenting event records as course records in some places.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 12:03, 20 June 2012 (UTC)
- Just to make it clear, you are discussing the luge records, right? If you look at the individual event results (need to go via one menu selection, as all events give the same URL) it states, before the list of results, a box which includes the "track record". This is done for start and track for each of the three competition types. I cannot understand other than that these are track records. Arsenikk (talk) 20:14, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
- I am not so sure that what says Start Record is a track start record, but I will let it go. I am going to pass this article now.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 20:35, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
