It seems to me that Chestney is notable for several reasons:
She had a career as an artist when there were not a lot of women artists, and particularly unusually she made works in a particularly male-dominated business: comic book illustration
She has won awards for her work as an illustrator
There are more books that can be used to expand the article about her in "Further reading"
