Are there any third party sources--sources not from the sorority? DGG (talk) 05:19, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
Alpha Kappa Alpha produces all of its own books (our writers and publisher). If there is something about Founder Burke (or any other Founder), it may be in the archives at Howard University.LivelyIvy1908 17:03, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
- As I noted on the discussion page for AKA, there is more being written about the sororities and their role in the colleges and communities, especially in the early decades of the 20th c. I don't have access to all of these, but they should be looked at for more info about the impact of the sorority and its people. It would be useful to get beyond sorority-produced materials. I'm also trying to develop more background info, for people/readers not familiar with the period.--Parkwells (talk) 17:28, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
Estimated birthyear
Hi, I understand your change. In another bio, I'd seen that someone had estimated a birthyear, so thought that was reasonable if it was in the range of what we would expect of someone going to college.--Parkwells (talk) 17:28, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
- Some women went to college from early to late twenties. Miranda 17:32, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
