This article needs a rewrite:

1. Although edited to be perceived less provocative by the South, it was by no means "deeply conciliatory to Sothern slave-holding interests." 2. Notes are not in the order in which Lincoln presented them. 3. I would add other items of importance. 4. Lincoln never specified the Corwin amendment.
