Supporting cast

edit

It is missing the following: Jesus, Mary and Joseph and the wee donkey as themselves. There's a 99.95% chance of this being correct, and the CPS are happy that the threshold has been met to add this info. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 11:45, 26 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Aw, Mother of God, don't risk DCS Carmichael catching sight of this!

James Nesbitt

edit

Several aggressive editors have inserted James Nesbitt into the cast list. Nesbitt did not appear in this series. He is not included in the on screen credits. His character was unseen, non speaking and was represented by two photographs of Nesbitt. This needs explaining if he is to be included, despite several aggressive editors removing the explanation multiple times. If he is to be included, the explanation is needed. I don't think he should be included at all. He did not appear in this series. Or any other series.50.200.89.170 (talk) 15:50, 5 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Acronyms

edit

I imagine this comment might apply to the pages for all of the series to date, but is it good form to ask a Wikipedia reader to do a web search to learn the meanings of acronyms such as DCI on their first usage in the page? Would it not be better on their first usage to spell out what they are and then provide the acronym in parens for later usage in the page? I do not know if the meaning of these acronyms is obvious to UK readers, but perhaps it would be better to assume they are not obvious in other parts of the world.
