The fundamental theorem of linear spaces states that the number of lines is at least the number of points, with equality if we are working with a projective plane or a near-pnecil (one line and one point outside of it connected with all the point on that first line).
Now that seems to be okay in your definition. This definition http://www.math.uni-kiel.de/geometrie/klein/math/geometry/linspace.html gives weaker axioms.
